My approach
My name is Sophie, and I’m an experienced pet photographer based in the Cotswolds, UK. When I haven’t got a camera in my hands, I can be found walking and exploring with my two hounds, Prince and Bob.
I have experience working with reactive and nervous dogs, as well as dogs that absolutely love attention! With a keen eye for detail, I will capture beautiful and emotive images that you will cherish forever. Whether it’s an action shot, or a captivating portrait, your pets unique personality will shine through!
What does a shoot with me look like?
I’m not afraid to get muddy, or stand in streams to get the shot! I’m fully committed to getting photos that reflect your pets personality.
So, if they are a keen swimmer, love to run, or are a mud monster at heart - I’m here to capture them in their element!

Sophie was brilliant and so patient with my slightly nutty collie mix! very respectful of his needs and space, took everything at his pace and with lots of yummy treats. She truly goes above and beyond for the shot, even if that means getting gross doggy pond water shaken all over her!

We recently had a shoot with Sophie and it was such an experience! I have a nervous/reactive dachshund and Sophie was great at making sure both myself and Daisy were ok/comfortable! Daisy did bark for the majority of the shoot, but Sophie was fab at handling this, and also making me not feel embarrassed about it.

Sophie was absolutely brilliant during our photoshoot session with Tessa, Amy and Cleo. The photos were taken on one our usual walking routes which allowed the dogs to remain relaxed at all times and express themselves authentically.

Sophie has photographed our sighthounds twice now. Sophie has done an incredible job of capturing their personalities and worked smoothly and in such a fun gentle way with them. One of our rescues has bonded with Sophie already which showed the natural talent she has with dogs.
